The "good news" is the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins; He was buried; And He arose alive and triumphant from the grave. Jesus took the punishment we deserve and in exchange offers the free gift of salvation we don't deserve.  By his grace we get heaven and by his mercy we don't get hell. All that place their full faith and trust in Jesus' sacrifice, and not their own behavior, are saved by His shed blood.

Each person claiming Jesus Christ as Saviour, should promptly make public his/her profession of Christ.  Every new Christian should follow the Lord's command for a believer's baptism. A scriptural baptism is always by immersion after salvation. Baptism does not save, but is the Lord’s prescribed way for us to identify ourselves with Him in open confession. Baptism is a symbolic representation of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ.

  At the precise time of the new birth (salvation), the believer immediately receives the Holy Spirit and is placed into the body of Christ.  The believer is forever indwelt by the Holy Spirit as Comforter, Teacher and Guide. The Holy Spirit will guide the believer into all truth.

Every believer, at the exact moment he/she puts their full trust in Christ, is born into the family of God. The believer instantaneously becomes a son or daughter of the living God. The believer has been redeemed by the Lord and is forever secure in Christ, possessing everlasting, eternal life and is sealed by the Holy Spirit for eternity. Salvation can never be lost.

The Scriptures teach that a local church is a congregation of believers (as few as 2), associated by a covenant of faith and fellowship of the Gospel. The church observes the ordinances of Christ and is governed by His laws. The only scriptural officers are bishops or pastors (pastor, bishop and elder are three terms for the same office) and deacons, whose qualifications, claims and duties are clearly defined in the New Testament.

Heaven, also described as Paradise, is the temporary home of all who believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus tells us that upon the death of the believer, he/she will go to Heaven awaiting the Day of the Lord. At the Day of the Lord there will take place a resurrection to an everlasting, incorruptible, spiritual body. The saved believer will then return for the Millennium. After the Millennium, the believer will dwell with God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ in the New Heaven and New Earth.

Hell is the temporary home of all who die without believing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus tells us that upon the death of the un-believer, he/she will be sent to the punishment of Hell, awaiting the Great White Throne Judgement. The un-believer will then be judged upon their sins, before being cast into the Lake of Fire.

Satan (Lucifer) is a real being and is the enemy of God. He is also known as the 'tempter', the ‘father of lies,’ and the great deceiver of mankind. He is the instigator of all false systems of religion on Earth. Satan and his followers will ultimately be cast into the Lake of Fire.

Saved Christian believers, together with independent local New Testament churches, should be guided and governed by the Bible. It is imperative to identify false doctrine and those who perpetrate it. Saved Christian believers are commanded by the Lord to stand separate and apart from them. The widespread popular practice of ecumenism (getting theologically diverse religious groups together for the sake of fellowship, for the cause of evangelism, and for the exercise of their ministries together) is an abomination to the Lord.

Men and women are spiritually equal in position before God, but God has ordained distinct and separate spiritual roles for men and women in the home. The husband is to be the leader of the family and the woman is to be the leader of the home. Children are to be educated in the home, where they will be taught God's word.

The return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is also known as "the second coming" or "the rapture". It is the literal and visible return of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of all his Saints (saved believers), together with Him in the clouds.  The timing of His return will occur post tribulation, but pre God's wrath, at about the midpoint of Daniels 70th week.

All saved believers are to be sober. God commands all believers to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts. All believers should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. Alcohol perverts judgment. God's word tells us, all that drink alcohol "are not wise."

Christmas is not Biblical.  It was not instituted by Jesus Christ, the Apostles or any Bible authority.

Jesus was not born on December the 25th.  The Bible links Jesus' birth timeline to a season warm enough for shepherds to be in the field with their flocks. 

Luke 2:8 KJV  "And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night."

The Christmas festival was ordered to be celebrated by the 5th Century Roman Catholic church on the day of the Roman feast of Sol (the sun god). The Christmas festival became intertwined with the Pagan festivals of Saturnalia & Brumalia, as those celebrations were deeply entrenched by the popular Pagan customs of the Romans.

The Christmas tree is a celebration of the birth of Nimrod (ruler of Babylon).  It is said he would visit the evergreen tree on his birthday and leave gifts.  The custom of cutting a tree and decorating it was a heathen tradition in which the Lord commanded in the Bible never to do.

Jeremiah 10:2-4 KJV " Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.  For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.  They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. 

Santa Claus is pagan. He is an omnipresent, mythical character, that will only give gifts as a reward for good behavior. This message is the antithesis of the Gospel, where God gives you the free "Gift" of salvation through your faith and not by your good behavior.

Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV " For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  Not of works, lest any man should boast."  

A saved Christian is to follow God, not the traditions of men.

Colossians 2:8 KJV  "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." 

Easter is not Biblical.  It was not instituted by Jesus Christ, the Apostles or any Bible authority.

Easter is the Roman spring fertility festival known as Eostre. This pagan festival celebrated the goddess Ishtar (Queen of heaven) and included the dying of eggs and the baking of cakes (hot cross buns).

Jeremiah 7:18 KJV  "The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger." 

The Bible records the Romans celebrating Easter, not Christians.

Acts 12:1-11 KJV  "And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people." 

The Apostle Peter was put in jail by the Romans for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He later escaped while the Romans were busy celebrating their pagan festival of Easter.

A saved Christian is to follow God, not the traditions of men.

Colossians 2:8 KJV  "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." 

God has laid out all of his laws in the Old Testament. Jesus Christ affirmed all of these same laws in the New Testament. 

Mathew 5:17-18 KJV  "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.   For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 

The only government or political party God wants, is one that 100% follows his laws and his Son. Not the laws of men.
